Grade II Listed Property Near BanburyWe obtained planning permission and Listed building consent for the extension and conversion of a Grade II listed house. We project managed the build to a very high specification which included installation of a ground source heat pump system in the garden as well as re-landscaping.
Garden Lodge FetchamThe client required auxiliary accommodation separate from the main house. We designed, applied for, and achieved, planning for a 90m2 single storey lodge with flexible accommodation. The main features of the lodge are a vaulted ceiling to the main area with an oak truss and beams. The exterior is a mix of brick and waney edge elm boarding under a slate roof which makes for an attractive building in its setting. New utilities, drainage and an access road were also required. The build was project managed by ourselves and the client was delighted with the end result.
Golf Course New BuildWe designed, built and project managed a new 5 bedroomed house on a golf course in Surrey. This required extensive planning consultation with the local Council as it was situated in the Green Belt. The building has vaulted ceilings in a number of the bedrooms and also in the 'orangery'. A 'smart' system has been installed to enable the lighting, heating and sound system to be controlled externally.
AshteadThis project involved the demolition of the existing house and replacing it with a much larger one. We demolished the existing building, installed new foundations and oversite and erected a bespoke 'Potton' timber frame house, this was clad in brickwork to ground floor and tilehanging to the first floor with hand made tiles to the roof. The interior was then fitted out to a high specification including u/f heating, oak flooring, oak joinery and bespoke kitchen.
Newdigate New BuildThis client had been trying to get planning permission for thirteen years for demolishing and rebuilding his bungalow in the Green Belt. We not only obtained a satifactory planning result with the local authority, but had this new property built and project managed to the complete satisfaction of the client within eighteen months.
Mole Valley Barn ConversionThis barn was in the curtilage of a listed property in the Green Belt. We achieved planning permission to turn it into a separate dwelling and we project managed the whole process of conversion. Considerable structural work was undertaken and the project is now complete. Whilst completing this barn, the clients required extra planning for a new 3-bay barn to act as a studio and workshop. Planning was also achieved for a further double garage for the main house. These have now been built.
Grade 2 Listed Barn KentGrade 2 listed barn near Canterbury, Kent. We took an existing planning consent for the conversion of a listed barn into a residential dwelling. We re-designed and project managed the conversion of the barn into a superb individual multi-million pound home. Working with the client and conservation officers we oversaw all aspects of the detailed design and build achieving 'one of the best barn conversions in the South of England'.
Leatherhead Motor CompanyWe were asked by Leatherhead Motor Company to design, obtain planning, arrange funding and project manage a new MOT garage to replace their existing facilities which were too small. This was to be done without interfering with the working of the existing garage. We succeeded in doing this, building over the top of the existing garage while not interfering with the work going on below. We were then asked to design and build another garage adjacent to this facility which we also achieved.
